We will have a community gathering on 02/05 (Sunday). We will have a talk on prophecy. Don Schwager from Servants of the Word will give the talk. We will start with praise and worship followed by Don’s talk. We will have activity for children. We will meet at St. Priscilla Church in Livonia (19120 Purlingbrook Rd. Livonia, MI 48152). Setup starts at 2:30PM and praise and worship starts at 3:15PM.
February 19 - CADA Community Gathering (St. Priscilla Church @ 3PM)
We will have a community gathering on 02/19 (Sunday). We will have sharings and group discussion. We will review the evangelization talk given last year and set some goals. We will start with praise and worship followed by the activity. We will have activity for children. We will meet at St. Priscilla Church in Livonia (19120 Purlingbrook Rd. Livonia, MI 48152). January 18-25 – Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
For 8 days we will join the Christian communities in prayer for Christian unity. Let’s show our solidarity with our Christian brothers and sisters especially all Sword of the Spirit communities as we pray together as one body of Christ. We will pray as a community the Christian unity prayer and we will also have time to pray for different petitions. We will also have an opportunity to pray for one another. August 13 Saturday – CADA Family Outing (North Beach, South Haven @10 AM)
All are invited to our annual Family Outing! This year we will have a fellowship, beach games and kayaking/canoeing activity. We will meet at North Beach, South Haven (Lakeshore Drive, South Haven, MI 49090) approx. 3 hours’ drive from Detroit. We will gather in the beach area, please bring sun block, swimming attire, etc. There will be a sign up to bring sandwiches, please bring your own drinks. There will also be a food truck where you can buy food. Anyone participating in kayaking/canoeing must sign a waiver form. This is open to all, so invite your friends and family. August 28 Sunday – CADA Community Gathering and Fellowship with Servants of the Word Filipino brothers (Rotary Park, Livonia @11AM)
Join us for fellowship and picnic with Servants of the Word brothers coming from the Philippines. We will meet at Rotary Park – Pavilion #5 by the Baseball diamond (32184 6 Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152). This is a potluck activity so bring food to pass around. After the fellowship and lunch, we will have a time for praise and worship and sharing (around 2PM). All are welcome.

July 8 Friday – CADA 26th Anniversary Game night (St. Priscilla Church @7PM)
Please join us for dessert and fun games fellowship. This activity is part of our 26th anniversary celebration. We will start with a short worship and then refreshments followed by an evening of fun games. We will serve ‘Halo Halo’, a popular Filipino ice dessert, are all welcome to bring food and/or dessert. We will meet at St. Priscilla Church in Livonia (19120 Purlingbrook Rd. Livonia, MI 48152). Setup at 6:30PM. Please invite your friends and family. All are welcome.
July 16 Saturday – CADA 26th Anniversary Lord’s Day and Dinner (Ss. Cyril and Methodius @5:30PM)
“Be rooted in the Lord. His grace is sufficient.” Please join us as we celebrate 26 years of God’s faithfulness and blessings to our community. . We will have the Lord’s day celebration followed by dinner, fellowship, honoring, presentations, and many more. We will meet at Ss. Cyril and Methodius (41233 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). Attire is Cocktail. Dinner fee: $12 (13 y.o. and up) and

We will have a pentecost gathering on June 5. We will a guest speaker from Servants of the Word, Don Schwager. Don has been a member of the brotherhood since its beginning in 1971. He is the author of Daily Scripture, a daily scripture meditation website. We will start with praise and worship followed by Don’s talk. We will meet at St. Priscilla Church in Livonia (19120 Purlingbrook Rd. Livonia, MI 48152). Setup starts at 2:30PM and praise and worship starts at 3:15PM.
June 17 Friday – CADA Community Gathering (St. Priscilla Church @7PM)
We will have a community gathering on June 18. This will start our summer community gathering schedule. We will continue our scripture study on the Book of Acts. June 25 – Men’s Fellowship (Macomb)
All men are invited to the CADA Men’s fellowship on June 25. We will participate in the "Run The Plank" 5K Fun Run. Info here: https://runtheplankmacomb.com. This is annual event held at St Isidore Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). Brothers, you will need to register for the run on the website on or before June 9th for a $35 registration fee. After that date, registration fee is $40 and then if registering on the day of the event, it's $45. The assembly time is between 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM at St Peter Lutheran Church (52941 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). Run starts approx. 8:15 AM and ends at 9:30 AM.
After the run, we will drive to and gather at Jun Chu's backyard and we will have worship time, breakfast, and a fellowship. Our event theme is from Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
